Hi,
My name is Dara Strickland. I'm the wife of Reverend Cortez Strickland (28 years this Sept.), mother of six
beautiful daughters, 1 handsome son and grandmother to 12. I have been a Christian for over 22 years (wow)! In addition
to being wife, mother & grandmother I am a writer. For 15+ years I have written plays, skits, monologues & poetry.
Now I've written 2 books (hooray)!
This year my husband and I have started a new church, Maranatha Christian Fellowship. Maranatha means 'The Lord is coming.' Please
pray for us that God will grant Cortez the boldness to preach and teach God's Word in truth & power. We are in process
of finding a building, right now we are meeting in our home. Cortez is an awesome Bible teacher and I'm not just saying that!
